Coded Arms review
Don't get it twisted, we've all had our doubts about Konami introducing a FPS into the market, but at the same time,
PSP owners have been starved for this. Coded Arms is the game in question, an eagerly anticipated title set for release next week. On paper it looks good, even if there's some question about the control (why didn't Sony throw in another analogue pad?). Nice visuals, randomly generated levels, plenty of weapons, a variety of things to kill, multiplayer modes (ad hoc, sigh), etc, etc.
PSP 411 has posted an early review of Coded Arms. It's honest, albeit short. The final verdict: 84/100. In the inflated world of the ratings game, an 84 isn't a particularly good score. And elsewhere, Coded Arms has earned even lower marks (see below). Do we smell Killzone's bastard stepchild?
