LG licenses the Palm OS

We knew it had to be either Motorola or LG and it turns out we were right: PalmSource announced today that LG is licensing the Palm operating system for a new line of smartphones. No details on when LG might bust out their first Palm-powered smartphone, but they're the first major new licensee for the Palm OS in recent memory and there's no denying that this is a huge, huge break for PalmSource, a company which otherwise has been in a total slump lately.
