Cingular, Sprint add more MMS interoperability

Well, this certainly
took long enough: Cingular has announced that its customers can now send MMS messages to subscribers of most other cellphone carriers (Nextel is still off limits). At the same time, Sprint announced MMS interoperability with T-Mobile. So, you may finally be able to send that cameraphone snap to just about anyone, regardless of their carrier. Now, if only the U.S. carriers could all just switch over to GSM so we could use any phone with any provider, we'd be all set.
