They swear they're not abandoning the Palm OS, but Qool Labs, the company behind the QDA-700 (aka the first Palm-powered smartphone to break the megapixel barrier), is diving into Windows Mobile with their first Pocket PC Phone. Due out later this year, the QDA-Pocket PC will be a tri-band GSM/GPRS handset and run on either Windows Mobile 2003 SE or Windows Mobile 5.0 and have a 1.3 megapixel camera, 2.8-inch QVGA LCD screen, Bluetooth, and a miniSD memory card slot.
