Cancer patients helped by video games
Wow, two positive reports on video games in one day! It is refreshing to write about the good that video games can do. Following on the heels of the DDR-helps-ADHD report from earlier today, Mark Griffiths of Nottingham Trent University said that cancer patients who played a moderate amount of video games actually reported less nausea and less of a need for pain-reducing medication. Hmm, video games can be beneficial for society – take that, Jack Thompson!
