My wish for iPhoto

Here's a bit of functionality I'd like to see in a future release of iPhoto. I like the fact that it can currently import the .AVI clips I create with my digital camera, but I'd like it to also be able to play them in the way that iTunes plays video. I realize that I can convert the .AVI files to .MOV rather painlessly and then import them into iTunes, but that seems like extra steps, when (I imagine) this functionality could be added to iPhoto relatively easily.
