Widget watch: Classic arcade games updated

Last week I posted about the ill-fated Pac Man widget, which was only available for a few minutes before Namco hit the developer with a cease and desist order. If you weren't one of the lucky few who got a copy before it disappeared, take a look at Imagery Media. They're producing "reworked" versions of classic arcade games, like Pac Man, Space Invaders, Tetirs and more, all different enough to avoid copyright disputes. In fact, their updated Asteroids game (called "Pathfinder") features some very nice background images. "Alien Hunter" replaces Space Invaders, and has a real Anime feel. Definitely worth your time, so check them out if you like these classic games.
