Doom movie might get it right

Those lucky enough to visit the San Diego Comic-Con had the chance to sit in on a panel discussing the new Doom movie, as well as witness two new clips.  Of note, Doom will stay true to the game and take place on Mars
(yay!).  Also, there will be at least one scene where the movie takes the perspective of a first-person shooter –
for better or worse, it sounds interesting.  The monsters are primarily real (i.e. not CG) and are being handled by the guy who made the Aliens and Predator creatures.

Mars, Predator-caliber creatures, and no Uwe Boll in sight.  Maybe this won't be such a bad movie, after all.
