Smart clothespins keep laundry out of the rain

We can't recall the last time we hung our laundry outside on a line to dry instead of just tossing it in the dryer, but if you like the idea of drying your clothes in the fresh air
(thus, you probably don't live in New York) but don't want to get them soaked in a sudden storm, designer Oliver MacCarthy has you covered with his Weather Predicting Clothes Pegs. The prototype design includes a weather forecasting module that will lock the pegs when rain is expected, so that you can't use them. Of course, this could backfire if the pins detect a storm after you've already hung out your wash, locking the clothes in place until they're drenched. We'll stick with the dryer.
