Symball ping-pong

Because why have actual sport when you can have simulacrum, really? Finland's VTT Technical Research Centre knows there's only one thing better than real ping-pong, and that's camera-driven ping-pong played virtually with cellphone rackets. The phone display shows the virtual table, net, ball and rackets, and you make your shots by tilting the phone to move your racket. Bluetooth handles the data communication layer in the SymBall game, but it would also be possible to play via slower radio transmission. The next logical step is to set up a SymBall tournament to be played between ping ping robots so we don't actually have to be involved at all.
