Game Boy Micro hits Japan on September 13th?

This isn't even close to confirmed, but Next Generation says that "reports" from Japan suggest Nintendo is going to drop the Game Boy Micro in Japan on September 13th. That just happens to be the 20th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros. for the Famicom,
and supposedly there will be some a bunch of special Mario games accompanying the release of the Micro.
