July 27: What's on HDTV today

We're thinking of mixing this daily post up a bit and we're hoping you can help with some feedback. Instead of just providing a list of what programs are available in HD, we'll try to add a little more value with a recommended or must see pick. Maybe this becomes a "What we're watching today" post, who knows? Let us know your thoughts.

In the meantime, lets get you a list of what's available for your HD-set today, along with the embellishment of our pick for today. If you want to recommend a show, the door is open so don't be shy! Just tell us what you'll be watching, when it's on, and why you'll be watching.

CBS: The King of Queens (9:30 PM), CSI: NY (10 PM)

NBC: Law & Order (9 PM & 10 PM), The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (11:30 PM)

Fox: Malcolm in the Middle (9:30 PM)

WB: One Tree Hill (8 PM), Smallville (9 PM)

What we're watching:
"A Few Good Men" on TNT-HD at 8 PM. We love the riveting 1992 classic starring Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Kevin Bacon, Keifer Sutherland, and of course, Jack Nicholson. Don't miss the lush Cuban scenery! (1080i)
