SnapStream announces Beyond TV 4; upgrade to include HDTV, DivX, FM

If you're looking for a PC-based DVR and want to go above and beyond MCE's onboard functionality, SnapStream's recently announced upgrade to
Beyond TV may be the answer.
Beyond TV 4 will include support for recording FM radio, DivX encoding, and HDTV. Of course, to get HD, you'll need a compatible tuner card, but the SnapStream boys are working hard to test this with as many tuners as they can, so it should work out of the box with most over-the-air ATSC cards. No release date beyond "the next few months," but if you spring for Beyond TV 3.5 now ($69.99), it'll be a free upgrade.
