Having fun with Revolution rumors
Update: It hasn't even been 3 hours and all the rumors are solved. Thanks guys. For proof that this rumor is false, check out
this page (square two) and
this link (go to pages 1, 2, 3, and 6).
It's almost as if Nintendo's running the cheapest ad campaign since Halo's
ilovebees.com (does anyone remember Nintendo's
parody of that? Very funny). By making the Revolution a complete and utter mystery, every curious party has hyped the machine through their hypotheses and
'artistic renditions' of possible controller designs. All that is known about the machine is that it looks like an external DVD drive (which I like, don't get me wrong) and that it's online service is an old-school video game iTunes. Needless to say, rumors are abound on Nintendo's upcoming contender in the console wars, and here's the latest.
French web site JeuxVideo.com has posted images that might be made by the Revolution. For those who don?t speak French (I knew those classes would pay off some day), in a gist the site says that they received these pictures from a Japanese web site, which claims that these pictures were released by Nintendo to show that its next-gen baby will be more than up to the task visually. I can?t state enough that this is just a rumor – but hey, a fun rumor at that; at least it?s not another controller mock-up. And if it was true,
the Revolution would seem more than capable of keeping up with next-generation technology.
Observe and enjoy.
