AsusTek W3V 14-inch widescreen laptop reviewed
AsusTek continues to pump out laptops that compete pretty aggressively with the big boys — not surprising, given that
the company manufactures such boxes as Apple's Powerbooks. The company's $1,899 W3V looks like it could be another solid performer, according to PC Magazine's review. With a 14-inch widescreen display, built-in dual-layer burner, Pentium M 750 running at 1.86 GHz, 512MB RAM
standard and an ATI Mobility Radeon X600, this looks like a solid machine for on-the-road media and general productivity apps, and it weighs in at a respectable 5.5 pounds.
