70-inch set coming from JVC

HDTV sizes keep gettin' bigger while prices keep gettin' smaller. It appears that JVC's 70-inch monster rear-projection television set is coming to the United States in September for under ten-grand. There aren't any specs provided, but if we did the math right, the "2.07 million pixel" set indicates a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Typical of JVC high-def sets, this behemoth will utilize JVC's D-ILA or Direct-Drive Image Light Amplifer technology.

We have to wonder on the timing of this development, since it was just last week when we noticed a new 1080p chip from JVC. Coincidence?
