While we're all arguing about the legality of connecting to so-and-so's WiFi network without permission (for scrupulous purposes, natch), home routers are gradually implementing MIMO (multiple in multiple out) technology. In other words, that snatchable WiFi signal of yours that's the question of dubious legality is now spilling further and further out from your home—but that's probably what you want, right? You're paying the premium for great coverage and speed. We won't tell you who won out of the six devices in the MIMO router shootout (need a hint?),
but it's no big surprise who came out on top.
