The iPhantom transparent VPN-tunneling proxy
We have to admit, the iPhantom is one of the more clever ideas we've seen in a long time when it comes to road-warrior security. Without getting too deep into the nitty gritty on it, the iPhantom essentially appears to be a location-independent transparent VPN-tunneling proxy—in other words, this device encrypts all your outgoing traffic,
sends it to a secure proxy node on Phantom's network, and forwards it for you. Simple anonymous AES-secure traffic wherever you go. We're not sure how well it'll do with NAT traffic, but we assume they've got that stuff worked out to the best of their abilities. Oh, and don't feel bad if you don't know what we're talking about here—the only people who probably need these things were the ones who just had a minor flipout.
