EA blew the HD opp with Madden '06

I almost forgot that today is the launch date for the newest Madden game for Microsoft's XBox. From what I've read, the new passing features are a huge upgrade towards reality. Aside from the gameplay features, why couldn't Madden have had 720p capability, if not 1080i?

There's a handful of XBox games that are high-def capable and this last Madden before XBox 360 should have been as well. The HD-adaptor for the XBox is a paltry $20; I've had mine since November of 2001. This was the perfect opportunity and title to transition the gaming world to the HD future that XBox 360 will bring. Instead, we get yet another EDTV (480p) title that we'll discard in a few months. C'mon gang, those HDTVs aren't just for watching television!
