Update: PSP 2.0 software (US) not ready yet

According to a
mesasage posted by SCEA on the official PSP message board, the US version of the system 2.0 software update will no be made available until sometime "during the week of August 15th, instead of on August 12, as previously reported." 
Apparently, the patch still needs more time in the oven or something  Special thanks to Joystiq user
sparkinator2tuf for alerting us to this announcement.  For those hankering for the update, I guess its going to be a long weekend.
