Tourist hit by lightning on Great Wall--again

If we weren't such perpetual skeptics we might be about ready to
eat our words
about cellphones on the Great Wall of China right now,
but you guessed it, another tourist was struck by lightning and killed on the Great Wall. And yet again Chinese officials are claiming, "Mobile phones in use can induce lightning strikes." Or maybe it's that the Great Wall is just cursed by the souls of the thousands of slave laborers buried beneath. (Whoa, did we just get really heavy on this?)
Seriously though, considering that probably everybody present has a cellphone, when someone gets hit by lightning doesn't it still seem a little unfair to blame the gadgets?
