Sony ships a million WEGA's

As Sony continues to lose market share in the television space they once dominated, it's time we heard some good news. Sony shipped their one-millionth WEGA set from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania production facility.

This is nice news, but I'm more interested in the strategies that Sony will employ to regain their dominance. There's no question in my mind that they make a great HDTV set, but how will that equate to better marketing, production alliances and market share? A million is a big number, but the fact remains: it's only a number. The expected turnaround plan from the new CEO, Howard Stringer, is what I'm waiting for. Oh, and some awesome new TVs too!

If you could give one piece of advice to Howard Stringer on Sony, what would it be?
