We're not sure what kinds of people you'd want to be defending yourself against that you'd use a toyish "lazer"
tripwire system instead of a proper alarm rig, but questions such as these haven't stopped some of the wackiness
Wild Planet's pumped out in the past. Their Lazer TripWire system is definitely home security on a shoestring at $30 a sensor set, though, so don't be too bummed when your livingroom booby traps didn't get triggered and your coveted new HDTV is left to the burglars' devices.
