Fujitsu pumps 2.5-inch SATA drive up to 160GB

Fujitsu has announced a 160GB 2.5-inch Serial ATA (SATA)
hard-disk drive for laptops, to be available later this year. The MHV2160BT spins at 4200 RPM and uses Native
Command Queueing, which SATA proponents say improves performance.
Earlier this year, Fujitsu began shipping 40GB and
80GB 2.5-inch SATA drives, and now faces competition from a growing array of vendors in the space for
higher-performance small drives.
