Sony intros Bravia LCD HDTVs

Sony Bravia logo

Sony's rolling out a new sub-brand under which its line of LCD HDTVs will live from here on out — the Bravia brand will be kicking off with five models ranging from 26 to 40-inches in screen size. Bravia is an acronym that stands for "Best Resolution Audio Video Integrated Architecture," which looks like one of those acronyms cooked up after the fact to fit the letters (don't think we don't know, Sony). Anywho, these new LCDs are apparently out already at SonyStyle stores, the sonystyle.com online store, and other authorized Sony dealers.
