Samsung nears $1b a month in LCD sales

We knew this was getting to be a big market, but holy cow! Samsung sold $913 million worth of LCD panels
in the month of June, an all-time monthly LCD revenue record for any manufacturer. The revenue numbers reflect sales of 8.42 million LCD
units.

Clearly a portion of the LCDs built and sold reflect flat panel computer monitor components, but I have to believe that LCD
television panels are driving the growth here. Watch for continued growth and higher revenues as Samsung is standardizing on larger-sized panels.
