65 inch TV wars rage on
Normally I don't care for fights; I'd rather just settle differences over a few beers and call it even. Apparently, Matsushita and Sharp feel otherwise. Matsushita, the parent company of Panasonic, announced the November release of a 65-inch PDP set that will cost less than a comparable 65-inch set from Sharp.
Matsushita claims that this will be the first 65-inch model to display 1920 x 1080 resolution. You just know that Sharp is going to change their plans and build their next plasma an inch bigger, don't you? Either way, we're actually enjoying all of the competition. One thing though: can you guys hurry this fight up? Christmas is coming, you know. Oh, and so are the SED sets that just might replace both PDP and LCD sets.
