HDTV set from Emerson coming to US?

Nothing official yet, but we're speculating based on an industry deal between Grande and Emerson. Emerson doesn't manufacture their sets and Grande doesn't have a presence in the United States television market. Grande is buying 37% of Emerson to gain a foothold here in the states.

You might not have heard of Grande before, but you probably know them by some of the brands they sell which include Akai, Nakamichi and Sansui. Since some of those brands offer HDTV sets now and because of the growing LCD market, we've got to wonder if we'll see Emerson offer a small, low end HD set.
