Sony Vaio V: PC or TV?

I don't know if this is HD-capable or not, but Sony has a new combo PC and TV out. The Sony Vaio V has a 20-inch LCD integrated with a decent 3 Ghz computer. Also under the hood from a television perspective is a 256 MB ATI Radeon Xpress card and a TV tuner. Not much else is available on it yet (in English, that is), so we'll keep an eye out.

Would you consider forgoing an HDTV purchase and get the best of both worlds if the Vaio V was HD-capable?
