Windows Vista Beta 1 vs. Tiger

Paul Thurrott has a reputation of being Microsoft's monkey boy. He does run a popular tech site called 'Paul Thurrott's SuperSite for Windows,' however,  I think this reputation is a little overstated. It seems to me that he has respect, and possibly admiration, for Apple but doesn't agree with everything the company does and there's nothing wrong with that.

He has started a series on the SuperSite comparing and contrasting Windows Vista Beta 1 to Tiger. This is an unfair comparison to both OS's since Vista is in Beta and Tiger is Apple's currently shipping OS, but it is an interesting read nonetheless. Read Part 1 and get a taste of what the Windows world will be using in a few years and be thankful that you can see some of these 'new' features right now on your Mac.
