X-Woofer reviewed
Hardwarezone took a look at that X-Woofer personal audio device, the one you wear around your neck that vibrates in response to bass frequencies. They found it easy to set up, though it generates a floor full of messy cables in the process. They also found it lacking in volume and power for listening to music and movie watching, though the device does feel right at home in a gaming environment.
Particularly for first-person shooters, the X-Woofer adds a more compelling and direct experience from explosive effects. So while you might not want to pick this up for your home theater, it could be well worth the 80 bucks to enhance those transquil evenings of blowing stuff away.
