Can't decide Blu-Ray or HD-DVD? - Buy Samsung

Many people can't decide what high definition DVD format they will go with. Apparently neither could Samsung; they are going to release a player that can play both! We hope this is going to be the happy medium that will bring high definition video to the masses. Consumers would get the best of both worlds, while the companies can produce the media any way they want.

We will leave you to ponder the beautiful notion of playing both formats in one machine with this quote by the Samsung head of consumer electronics, Choi Gee-sun, "We would welcome a unified standard but if this doesn't come, which looks likely, we'll bring a unified solution to market." Nice.
