New Sony Grand WEGA finally hits SonyStyle

The press release for a new Grand WEGA LCD set hit the airwaves back in June, but it looks like the products just hit now on SonyStyle. You can now find the 55-inch 3LCD Grand WEGA for $2,999. Sony has some smart marketing going on as you can upgrade to the 60-inch set for just $500 more.

The KDF-E55A20 features a built in ATSC digital tuner for over-the-air broadcasts as well as an HDMI input jack with HDCP support. Both sets feature 1366 x 768 resolution for a 720p display output. The three LCD panels provide crisp color and no "rainbow effect" of a comparable DLP set.
