Canon's first HDV camcorder coming soon

It's not even close to being a consumer device, but Canon has been quietly showing off their very first HDV
camcorder, a new $10K+ model which should be officially announced later this week. CamcorderInfo says that the camera,
which is essentialy an HDV version of the XL2, won't be able to record in true 24p or 720p, but will support 1080i.
