LG shows digital coverter to lawmakers

There aren't many details here, but LG is showing a digital-to-analog converter to lawmakers in Washington, D.C. today. The device is a prototype, so no pics or specs of any kind just yet. I would imagine it to be a small plug-in unit as opposed to something as large as a set-top box.

The demo was requested by the House Energy and Commerce Committee, presumably in time for the upcoming DTV legislation draft we're expecting any day now. I say: make it small and make it inexpensive! Maybe then we can get on with this DTV transition.
