Palm Tungsten X/Tungsten T X and Zire 22 details leak out
No pics, but PalmInfocenter has some news about a couple of new Palm handhelds, including some fresh details on that
Tungsten X/Tungsten XX we first spied back in June as well as a new low-end model called the Zire 22. Apparently Palm is getting ready to put the Tungsten T5 out to pasture on October 11th, and its replacement, which may or may not be called the Tungsten, the Tungsten XX, or the Tungsten T X
(or TX), will run on Palm OS Garnet 5.4.9 and have a 312MHz processor, a 320 x 480 display (which is lame since a flagship device should really be rocking the VGA), 128MB of non-volatile memory, WiFi, Bluetooth 1.2, an SDIO expansion card slot. Retail price should be $299. Not many details about the new Zire 22, but supposedly it'll be listed at
$99.
