Lord of the Rings in HD simply rocks!

WB is countering the Emmy show tonight with a 1080i high-definition presentation of "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" and I wish I had an HD PVR. Holy cow, what an awesome picture! I can only catch a few minutes here and there; my significant other wants to watch the Emmys. Since I hog the HDTV most of the time, I'm more than happy to watch the awards with her.

During the commercials of the Emmys, I'm flipping from CBS to the WB. During the Emmys, I'm also catching Bob's fun blog entry on the show over at TV Squad of course. Hopefully, you've got a way to catch the HD feed for "LOTR" in between the Emmy commercials too.

Ooh! Here's another commercial! I press the magic button and...WOW! It's the scene where Gollum is struggling with his inner demons while Sam and Frodo are sleeping. Did I say "WOW" already? I can see the dirt within the wrinkles of Gollum's face. WOW!
