3-hour cutscene compilation among Subsistence extras

We here at Joystiq are always excited about special editions
of games that are released (even if they're not coming to
America
), but the latest extras
announced
for Metal Gear Solid 3:
Subsistence
really take the cake. The three discs included with the set are named Subsistence,
Persistence, and Existence, and their contents are as follows:

The Subsistence disc will contain the updated single-player game; a demo theater mode to try out all the new camouflage and face-paint options in the game's cutscenes; an unlockable "kinky theater" mode(!) for adults; as well as an unlockable boss-duel mode featuring optional new rules.

Persistence contains Snake Eater?s online-multiplayer modes (free in Japan and the U.S.), which also includes the ?face? (good) and ?heel? (evil) versions of Reiko Hinomoto from Konami?s
Rumble
Roses
; new stages in the Ape Escape-minigame; ?the original MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake? to complete a ?Big Boss Trilogy? of Metal Gear games; and finally a ?Secret Theater? with all of Kojima?s
MGS3 comedy movies and Metal Gear Raiden: Snake Eraser, an extended version of the E3-featured competition between Snake and Raiden to star in
MGS4.

Existence contains the three-hour compilation of Snake Eater?s cutscenes mentioned in the headline of this post. It will allow gamers to watch all the substantial story segments of the latest game in the form of a seamless movie [something this writer has been looking forward to for some time]. Kojima says, ?With this disc, anyone can experience the drama in MGS3 and cry.? Sounds like music to our ears.
