CNet Asia reviews iRiver U10

While most of us are either scratching our heads
(do we really need another tiny, overpriced,
flash-based portable video player) or salivating (this thing is lightweight,
has a sharp screen for the size and has pretty good sound quality), CNet Asia has actually given the iRiver U10 a workout, and found it to have a great display, but poor video capabilities due to firmware limitations (AVI using MPEG-4 SP only, and no conversion utility; plus Flash files with no ability to use Flash-based controls). Audio quality was decent, and battery life stellar, clocking in at 28 hours.
However, CNet Asia also lamented that, with the iPod nano
juggernaut now in full force, it may be difficult for a player that offers 1GB at $249 to compete, given that the same price will get you a 4GB nano.

[Thanks, Titus]
