Sega forms studio to focus on eye-popping visuals
Next April, in preparation for the increasing demand of next-generation eye candy, Sega plans on opening a studio that focuses entirely on CG – both in-game visuals and pre-rendered FMV's. The studio plans to work on artwork for Sega games, games from other studios, TV animation, and anything else Sega made need them for.
The idea of a studio with an exclusive focus on graphics is rather interesting, and Sega's plan to have other studios use their craftwork (for monetary exchange, of course) is just another
step in Sega's climb back to gaming dominance.
