Castlevania confirmed for next-gen

Konami has announced plans to continue the Castlevania series on next-gen platforms. Future titles will continue to explore a world prior to Dracula's fall—versus the post-Dracula setting featured in portable
Castlevania games. The series' producer, Koji Igarashi ("Iga"), also said he plans to celebrate
Castlevania's 20th anniversary (in 2006) by doing something outside of the gaming world. Iga didn't have much more to say other than that he would be putting 100% into all future Castlevania releases.
