Dell to offer two "upscale" HDTVs

Dell announced two new HDTV sets today,
a 50-inch plasma set and a 32-inch LCD set. The large PDP is another sign that the high-def market can support larger screens. Now we just need to see if the walls in our entertainment rooms can support them.
The W5001C
has a built-in dual tuners (NTSC and ATSC) and will retail for $3,799.
The 50-inch set will be capable of 1366 x 768 lines of resolution with an 8,000:1 contrast ratio.

The W3201C LCD will list for $1,799 and will also include a built-in tuner. The 32-incher will have the same 1366 x 768 res as it's PDP big brother. Dell hasn't provided many other specs just yet on the LCD set, so it's difficult to say what kind of deal this is. This announcement has me wondering: Is there room in the HDTV market for Dell or should they just stick to computers and other consumer electronics?
