Sept. 28: What's on HDTV today

What we're watching:
Ok, you might have won me over with all of those "Lost" comments last week. ABC is kind enough to replay last week's season premiere just for me tonight at 8 p.m., followed by a new "Lost" at 9 p.m. Wasn't that nice of them? I'll give the first episode a view and if it pulls me in, I'll skip "E-Ring" at 9 p.m. I watched the "E" last week in HD, but I wasn't overly impressed by the high-def, nor by the plot. We'll see!

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.

Here are some other HDTV programs showing on selected networks today. All times are Eastern:

ABC: Lost (8 p.m. and 9 p.m.), Invasion (10 p.m.)

CBS: Still Standing (8 p.m.), Yes, Dear (8:30 p.m.), Criminal Minds (9 p.m.), CSI: NY (10 p.m.), The Late Show with David Letterman (11:35 p.m.)
