Sony Ericsson debuts Auto pairing for Bluetooth
Being on the cutting edge can be a hassle-filled affair, as early-adopters of
Bluetooth headsets are well aware. Sony Ericsson is trying to make that cumbersome pairing process more of a no-brainer with a new technology, Auto pairing, that eliminates the need for manual PIN input. Instead, Auto pairing-enabled headsets (namely, the soon-to-be-released HBH-610a) will automatically sync up to a compatible
Sony Ericsson cellphone, allowing the user to simply select a "yes" option for pairing to begin. The new headsets will also work with non-SE phones,
although the usual PIN runaround will still be an issue. You'll be able to pick up your very own HBH-610a before the end of the year.
