Sept. 30: What's on HDTV today

What we're watching:
Not much is striking my fancy on network television tonight, so I'm heading over to TNT-HD for "Rush Hour" at 8 p.m. Jackie Chan's stunts continue to amaze me and I haven't seen this flick in high-def just yet. Besides, Chris Tucker is underrated as a funny-man in my book and I
want to see Los Angeles and Hong Kong in HD. Well, Hong Kong anyway!

Since the night will still be young when "Rush Hour" is over, I'm switching over to MonstersHD for the original 1953 "War of the Worlds" in high-def. The originals are almost always better than the remakes!

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
