Roxio announces Easy Media Creator 8

 
Roxio is continuing their Easy Media Creator line of software with version 8, due out later this month. Besides just being able to make standard DVD's, new "music DVD's" and handle files from Tivo Series2 recorders, this latest version will allow users to burn DVD's of Divx HD content in 720p and even 1080p resolution.

If you're one of the few with a 1080p TV already, this is probably the fastest way you're going to get content for it, so keep an eye out for the $99 package.

The only concern I have is it doesn't mention if the software will be able to support blue laser technologies once they are available as well.
