Archer Field PC ruggedized Windows Mobile handheld

Juniper Systems is introducing a handheld
rugged enough to make us almost want to go camping just so we could "accidentally" fall in a lake or three while we're editing up some Word files. The Archer Field PC runs Windows Mobile 5.0 and doesn't hold back on features with a 520 MHz XScale processor, Bluetooth, WiFi, and USB host capability; all housed in a shockproof, dust proof, and waterproof casing. Also included are SD and CF card slots that along with being weather proofed like the rest of the device, support an extended cap to weather proof expansion cards that jut out of the device such as GPS or camera add-ons. It wouldn't hurt if they threw a few more pixels into the 320x240 3.5-inch display, but at least they're rugged pixels. No word on availability or price, but the website claims they'll have more info up October 10th.
