KDDI is out to liven up your phone's wallpaper, as they launched their "EZ QUICK" service last week for
CDMA 1X WIN handsets. Every hour, updates will be automatically downloaded and displayed in an autoscrolling window overtop of your phone's wallpaper. There are also shortcuts to frequently used EZweb features such as search, auctions, and so on. Sounds a lot like Motorola's Screen3 initiative, if you ask us, but hey, we're just saying.
