Sanyo's Xacti C5 tapeless digital camcorder reviewed
UK tech site BIOS has posted a review of the Sanyo Xacti C5 digital camcorder that came out earlier this year, and find it to be quite suitable for personal use. As we're sure you remember, the C5 is a small,
tapeless model that records VGA video and five megapixel stills onto the included 1GB SD card. BIOS is totally down with the portability, screen quality, and recording capacity (200 minutes- beat that, MiniDV) but cautions that professionals or picky amateurs should definitely look elsewhere. Still, for a little under $600, the C5 comes across a well-built, feature-rich cam for the price and its targeted audience.
