A history of the Apple Lisa
I like to collect vintage Macs (and Apples) and get them running again. One machine I'd love to have (other than a Twentieth Anniversary Mac) is a Lisa. LowEndMac is one of my favorite online resources for vintage Mac and Apple information, and yesterday they posted a nice history of the Apple Lisa. It was released in 1983, just a year before the Macintosh, at a cost of only $9,995US. By 1986, it was gone.
The amazing thing about the Lisa was, of course, the UI. I really need one of these for my basement. Anyone have one? I'd love to see a picture of your Lisa!
